Dr. Michael Pulver grew up in western New York and is a third generation veterinarian. After receiving his veterinary degree at Cornell University, Dr. Pulver and his family moved to Carson City, where they have lived for nearly twenty years. Dr. Pulver and his wife Marisa have two daughters, Quinn and Riley. The four legged members of the family are Ruby, a fifteen year old German Shorthair Pointer and Sochi, a 9 year old mini Goldendoodle. The Pulver family enjoys the outdoors, camping and recreating throughout the eastern Sierra, Great Basin and beyond. Dr. Pulver is an avid windsurfer, skier, mountain biker and climber.
Dr. Pulver has been a past board member of Pets of the Homeless. Dr. Pulver and staff volunteer at their Annual Wellness clinic at FISH in Carson City, providing free wellness exams and vaccines for pets of those in need.
